I hope you all have been hearing from various connections that Dave's surgery went well. Robert and I saw him briefly this afternoon. Of course he was as self-effacing and concerned about other people as always. Thanks everyone for the various offers of food and other help. We are trying to set up a system to make it work. Sorry it is taking a while. In the meantime, please contact Verity Thomas (contact info in one of the comments below) to coordinate food for Boston for the next few days. We don't know when they will be heading home to western Massachusetts but probably by the end of the week. By then we will have some coordination system in place. In the meantime, let me know if you want to help and I'll put you in the loop.
Also keep an eye open for a site that Verity will be setting up to collect for funds for the Bells (in case they need them). I will also be posting a list of five of Meagan's favorite organizations. So if you are moved the Bells would like you to contribute to them rather than send flowers. But again those details coming soon here and through FB and other connections.
